2009 Collegiate Mountain Bike Season

The 2009 Collegiate mountain bike season is here. Check out our race schedule here. Mines is hosting our home race at Sol Vista Resort in Granby, Colorado on September 19-20. Everybody is invited, racers, spectators, and especially volunteers. Come to our orientation meeting on September 8 at 7:00pm in Ballroom E for all the information you need to become part of our Nationally ranked club. Hope to see you out there

Thanks to everyone that braved the snow and raced yesterday. We have started making sacrifices to the weather gods to make sure next years race has good weather.


Refunds are currently being processed for all pre-registed riders whose races were cancelled. Checks should be sent out by the end of the week.

2009 Oredigger Classic

Race info released - February 27, 2009

CSM Cycling is proud to announce the 5th Annual Oredigger Classic, scheduled for April 4 & 5, 2009. As a part of the Colorado School of Mines E-Days celebration, this year's event will be the biggest yet. The event is open to collegiate and USA Cycling racers. CSM Alumni, faculty, and current students still race free!

CSM Ranked 1st in the Nation

After its successful fall season, the CSM Cycling Team is currently tied with Colorado College for 1st in the NCCA Division 2 Team Rankings. CSM looks to consolidate its hold on the lead at the upcoming NCCA Cyclocross Nationals in Kansas City, KS on December 14th.

CSM Cycling Continues National Success

MTB Team Takes 2nd at Championship

The CSM Cycling Team took 2nd place at the NCCA MTB National Championship D2 Team Omnium in Banner Elk, NC after being narrowly beaten by a strong Appalachian State Team.


The team was lead by strong performances by the Women's team, which topped the standings in three of the weekend's four events. The Men's team followed with Deider Barrick winning the national title in Dual slalom after a strong performance in the downhill and a pair of top 10 finishes by Joe Schneider in the Cross country and Short Track.

Melissa Marts - 2nd, Cross Country - 3rd, Individual Omnium - 4th, Short Track
